INDUSTRY TRANSPARENCY SURVEY

We know many organizations and individuals have been hard at work this last year to ensure that every individual in the theater industry can show up as their full selves.  We want to celebrate the work done, encourage sharing of knowledge and resources, and enable all to understand the work still ahead. In that spirit, we are asking every organization to fill out the form below collecting information on the work that’s been done this last year around anti-racism and DEI so that it can live online for all to see. We know much of this lives in disparate places (email blasts, social media posts, press releases) and want to bring all of that information together into one place.

This list will be all inclusive: both including the work done by predominately white institutions, but also the work that’s been done by new organizations and organizations led by people of color. This list - being cultivated and created in partnership with the Theatre Accountability Project at Columbia University - will be uploaded into a database and made publicly available.

We appreciate your commitment to this work and your willingness to participate. While we understand that sharing this work can feel scary, it is fundamental to our ability to build trust as a community and ensure that all feel safe to go back to work this summer and fall.
